Bronze Beauties

This week has come around so fast! I have been searching for a cream bronze eye shadow for todays post, as another trend hitting the catwalk this season is bronze eyes. Its a really bold look, sexy and sultry and very versatile. with big names, like Gucci, making it the statement beauty look, you know that a bronze eye shadow is a must have!

I have always felt that metallic colours like bronze and metallic greys, always look best when you use a cream eye shadow rather than a pressed powder, this is because it sits better and you can build it up, and it is relatively quicker and easier to use. I have used Colour Tattoo 24 hour stay, 35-on and on Bronze by Maybelline NewYork This was so nice to use and the fact it is long lasting is great, as not all cream eye shadows are that long lasting. I teamed this look with black kohl eyeliner in my bottom lid, and black mascara. Make it a bolder by adding a deep purple/red shade on the outer corners to really keep up with the catwalk looks, and add natural looking false eye lashes for an eye-catching evening look. keep it natural by just using a highlighter and bronzer as a blush instead of adding any pink undertones, and a nude lip, I used A Perfect Day by MAC cosmetics however you could go for a pinker lip if you have a darker skin tone.

This looks accompanies another trend makeup artists are using behind the scenes, perfectly. Matte finishes are all the range this season, so if you use an illuminating foundation and don’t want to waste it or buy another, invest in a light loose translucent powder to produce a more matte finish. Choose powder blushes instead of cream ones. I love how this season is understated glamour, and has a grunge feel to it but can still look stunning!

P.s my makeup giveaway is still open until Friday so make sure you are following my blog to be in with a chance to win a eye makeup goody bag full of my favourites! (see below) Good Luck and Happy Monday!

Oh and every like I get on this post today I will donate 20p towards the cause and show you all next Monday how I will be wearing Pink on Friday. So lets all use our makeup loving towards a great cause and save some lives!
Wearing it on your lips… so if you’re at work and need to subtly wear it pink try a gorgeous pink lip. It’s bold enough to support the cause and sophisticated, so you won’t get a rollicking off the boss if you need to meet and greet!

This lipstick is £1! Yes £1! pouty pink from MUA cosmetics you can buy from any Superdrug store. It’s a cheap cheap way of supporting this Friday! So don’t go breaking your bank.

Wearing it on your eyes…. okay so not often do I wear pink eyeshadow but it’s actually a new trend on the catwalks recently, you just gotta know how to not over do it! I’ve gone for a bright pink colour on the lid and shades using a bright purple using Glamour days palette by MUA cosmetics. This palette is only £4 so again not breaking any banks and stays on really well. Make those boys wink 😉

Wearing it on your cheeks for all you cheeky ladies out there this is an understated one but looks gorgeous on your Friday night on the town. I’ve used NARS blusher in orgasm like its name suggests it leaves you very satisfied as it has a gorgeous highlight in it so looks lovely under the disco lights!
